Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Calmis, a private messenger (the “Service”) provided by RARA Social Media Applications Development & Management L.L.C. (“RARA”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum age required by the laws of your country (at least 13, or higher where local law requires) and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. The Service and your account

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs through it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any law or the rights of others;
• send spam, malware, or engage in fraud, phishing, or abuse;
• harass, threaten, or harm others, or distribute unlawful content;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• use the Service to infringe intellectual property or misappropriate data.

4. Your content

You retain your rights in the content you send through the Service. You are solely responsible for that content and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. You grant us the limited rights necessary to operate and deliver the Service (for example, to transmit and store messages so they reach their recipients).

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by RARA or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update features and these Terms as the Service evolves.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RARA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Dubai will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
